Problem is I’m not able to take up his offer so if anyone out there is interested just drop me a line and I’ll send you his details.

Google filters must be slack cos this came through on a Gmail account tagged as a real email.
Upon checking my Gmail account spam filter I take it that the medical profession has moved bigtime to online product promotion. With 1700 items of spam 1595 were from friends of my GP, he must have forwarded my address to them. Pity I don’t have time to read how they can achieve such wonderful outcomes relating to specific body parts.
ACTION: Have a good laugh and move right along. Apply Strategy 2 and you won’t get this diatribe.

A recent spate of phisihing is targeting Aussie Taxpayers promising a tax refund by collecting creit card and personal information from a fake website.
While the spam message is poorly worded — signed at the bottom "Regards, Australian Government" — the fake site used to capture would-be victims’ credit card details is almost identical to the Tax Office Site
The input fields ask for the intended victim’s credit card number, expiration date and the CVV code — the three-digit security code used to authenticate transactions where the cardholder is not present — as well as secondary identifiers such as birth date, home address and mother’s maiden name.
No matter what technology solution is created to deal with scams, the scammers will always outhink them.
ACTION: Your Bank, your Credit Card provider, the Tax Office will not send you an email relating to any matter such as this. If you think they are then go direct to their site don’t follow a link from such an email.
Adopting Strategies 3 and 5 will cause this issue to be a non event

If you’re a member of Facebook you probably already know about this but even so it deserves a reminder.
One of your friends sends you an invite to an application, which when added presents you with a page encouraging you to "invite x amount of friends" to use the application fully or simply gives you no other option but to send invites.
It’s a pretty low effort to try and get a an application to become popular and finally Facebook administrators have been draged into seeing this for what it is.
Facebook platform policy has undergone an update to include specifics on what various applications can and can’t do with regards to forcing invites to play their game.
As per usual many of the developers of such applications haven’t bothered to take notice and consequently Facebook recently sent out a mailing to all offending developers informing them of a temporary restriction on invites for their application, whilst reiterating the updated policy.
ACTION: Protect yoursel if you insist in using the social networking sites. Apply strategies 3 and 4 and you can be assured of keeping unwanted emails at bay

I am having a BIG problem with a specific drug company sending email using my domain addresses. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to stop it?
I have changed my addresses several times and these spammers still manage to find the new addresses.
Sound familiar?
I see this all too often on forums and the sense of frustration coming through the various responses is most disheartening.
ACTION: Ensure your hosting service has security under control. The extra couple of $$ you save is not worth the grief.
Apply Strategies 3-5 as a way of eliminating the worry about spammers abusing your live addresses.
